Oily Skin

What is the best foundation for oily skin? I've tried BB cream, Clinique, Dr. Jarts, etc etc and cannot seem to find one that works.

Estee Lauder Double Wear, forever and ever, amen. If you like lighter coverage try the Lite version.

My holy grail foundation for my oily skin is Hourglass Immaculate foundation. It's a liquid to powder foundation so immediately, it will give me a matte finish. But I like to set with a setting powder as well and also a setting spray to give my skin more of a natural finish since there's so much powder going on. The foundation wears more beautiful during the day as some of your natural oils seep through. But it's not an oily look. More so a healthy, glowy look. The foundation can be a little annoying when you're skin is dry. So make sure that you have on moisturizer before you put on the foundation. And I found that the foundation wears best with the mineral veil primer from hourglass. Sometimes just switching your primer can really affect how well your foundation sits and lasts on your skin.

I have very oily skin and have been using Becca Ever-matte shine proof foundation throughout the summer and it has worked wonders. It's a bit price but I purchased towards the end of March and I'm going into September still using the same foundation (a little goes a long way!). Definitely worth a try!

The Estée Lauder double wear stay in place foundation is really good for oily skin, it doesn't transfer, it's long wearing with a satin finish so you won't look very dull and super matte. I heard the new one is better, it is called double wear nude water fresh makeup. Try that one as I heard it is more comfortable to wear for basically everyday makeup. That is on my next list to buy :). Hope this helps!
