Nighttime Skin Care with Luna

Hello everyone!

I've been experimenting with skincare, and I'm really interested in Luna Sleeping Night Oil. I currently have a decent nighttime routine - cleanser, tarte's knockout tingling toner, face mist, serum, eye cream, then moisturizer. I really want to include Luna in my nighttime routine but I've heard to not use it with an acid, like tarte's toner. Does anyone have any recommendations on where to add Luna?

Re: Nighttime Skin Care with Luna

@KateDeFranco I use Knockout and either Luna or Framboos everyday. I don’t have any sensitivity so at night, I cleanse tone with Knockout then apply Luna and Good Genes or Framboos and Marula. I’ve been doing this for years and have had no reaction at all.

If I were you, I would either alternate nights; one night with Knockout, next with Luna. Or, Luna at night and Knockout in the morning if your skin allows. Safest way is to alternate, though. Acids are my most favorite thing in the world! Lol

Thank you SO much! That is so helpful. I love Knockout and I didn't want to give it up! lol. I'll try alternating first or try knockout in the morning and see how that goes. I appreciate your feedback!

@KateDeFranco Of course! Do you already use Knockout in the morning and night? If so, you can just switch to Luna at night and Knockout in the morning. I never “eased” my way into acids. Lol. I dived right in!

Re: Nighttime Skin Care with Luna

Same! Once I got the recommendation for Knockout I just dived right in! I used it every day. I used it at night, but for now I’m going to take your advice and use it in the morning with Luna at night. My skin is normal to dry, and since it’s almost winter I don’t want to risk drying it out even more. I did that today and it went well!

@KateDeFranco Awesome! Your gonna love the combo. I’m almost 38 and my skin is better now than it as when I was 28.

Ah that's so great to hear! I'm 26, so I've been trying to be better with my routine. I've also started using CEO for Sunday Riley in the morning and I'm definitely a fan
