Night time cleanser

Does anyone have a favorite night time cleanser that has no acids in it, cleans off makeup and doesn't leave their skin tight? I was looking at tatchas deep cleanse but wanted to see what people's favorites were. Mid twenties, normal with sensitive skin with the occasional pimple or two.

Philosophy's Purity is the best!

Re: Night time cleanser

I would also suggest double cleansing. I love the new Origins makeup removing jelly. It melts into an oil and I actually enjoy using it just to see all of my makeup disappear. I follow up with a cleanser using my Clarisonic. Haven’t decided on a preferred cleanser yet so I have no suggestions. I know it can seem daunting to add another step to your routine but there is something incredibly satisfying about seeing all of your makeup come off on that cotton pad and knowing that after the second cleanse your skin is actually clean and ready to absorb other products you may use.

Re: Night time cleanser

Another vote for double cleansing with an oil-based makeup remover and then a cream cleanser. My favorite oils are from Face Shop and Shiseido and my preferred cleansers are from Philosophy and FAB.

Re: Night time cleanser

I also double cleanse. Fresh Seaberry Cleansing Oil is great. Removes my makeup and when you wash it off your skin is actually hydrated and not dry. I follow with Drunk Elephant No. 9 Jelly Cleanser. No tight feeling and it has a nice light scent.

Does the Fresh Seaberry cleanser affect your eyes? My current oil cleanser is by Farmacy and it works wonderfully but makes my vision filmy every time, and doesn’t always remove all of the mascara. (Yes my eyes are closed lol). Just trying to compare because I’m not sure I want to repurchase!

@graf200k FAB Face Cleanser!  I can't stop raving about it!

Re: Night time cleanser

@graf200k I double cleanse every night with Clinique Take The Day Off Balm and CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. It’s the most gentle, non-foaming cleanser ever! You can purchase it at any drugstore. For $10, it definitely a must. I’ve traded in all my expensive cleansers for CeraVe.

I love it when we find quality drugstore skincare!

RE: Night time cleanser

Hi! These days, I am really into Banila Co cleansing balm purity. It’s not available through Sephora but through sokoglam. I love that it’s gentle but delivers all its claims. As a follow-up cleanser, I love Korres Yogurt wash or Skin Laundry’s Foaming Wash Sensitive. I hope you end up trying them!

@graf200k I really like the Dermaclear Micro Foam by Dr Jart+.  I use it as my second cleanse at nights.

My first cleanse is the Camellia Oil from Tatcha.

Neither of those make my skin feel tight or have any acids in them.
