Need suggestions!

Was wondering what products that anyone has personally seen a different with for fine lines under their eyes?

Re: Need suggestions!

@angelbabybree  AM and PM, I apply The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10% for Reducing Fine Lines 1 oz/ 30 mL around my eyes. 2-3 nights a week, I also apply my full face retinaldehyde (aka retinal) serum around my eyes, being careful not to bring it all the way up to my lower lash line. I moisturize my undereyes with my usual full face moisturizer. If that skin’s excessively dry, I top the moisturizer with a thin layer of petrolatum balm, either Aquaphor Ointment or CeraVe Healing Ointment, for maximum water loss prevention.

None of that is an instant fix, or even a speedy fix. Results take consistency, patience, and realistic expectations: no topical skincare product will erase or drastically reduce undereye lines longterm. For those kinds of results, you need to see a dermatologist or your primary care doctor about in-office/clinic procedures.

Retinal is a form of vitamin A; others include retinol, tretinoin, granactive retinoid, etc. I’m not naming my retinal serum here because it’s too strong (0.1%) to start using immediately around the eyes. I recommend starting with a low strength retinol (note the O instead of A in the name) product instead, if you wanna go the vitamin A route and don’t already use vitamin A on the rest of your face. Consider something like Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Triple Correction Eye Serum 0.5 oz/ 15 mL —or for retinal, start with Avène RetrinAL Eyes (contains a lower % of retinal than my Avène full face serum).
