Need a skincare routine

I've been struggling with searching for products that will help my skin. I have oily sensitive skin, and I have a huge problem with large pores and redness. Basically my skins a mess. It's made me extremely insecure and I would really appreciate if anyone could help me out.

Re: Need a skincare routine

Less is more with respect to skin care and particularly when you have very sensitive skin. The key is finding safe, neutral products that will effectively cleanse your skin without irritation. Although it sounds counter-intuitive, cleansing oils which emulsify into a cleansing milk with a little warm water can effectively and gently whisk away make-up and the grime of the day. Facial oil can provide just the right degree of moisturizing without irritating your skin. BB cream rather than foundation may be the ticket if you want some coverage that is kind to your skin. You may want to look at calming masks that assist in restoring the Ph balance of your skin.

I like Tatcha products- their essence, the cleansing oil, the enzyme face wash and their Peony eye cream are my favorites. I use a c12brightening serum by Dermalogica that's excellent. Fresh's lotus cream is so nice. I hope that helps!

RE: Need a skincare routine

I highly recommend Dr. Jart Tiger grass serum, it has been a game changer for me!

@Sol4444 Since sensitivities vary by everyone, what causes yours? Is the redness from products or is it your skin physically?

What products are you currently using?

General redness masks, not at Sephora,  No7 Resucing skin paste- applied and left on

ELF supermask - thick gel cream like, I've left it on longer than it says and overnight however it is a bit tacky, so follow the wash off part. Only a tiny bit of product needed.

At Sephora,  Clinique redness line - moisturizer was too heavy my oily/combo skin. Origins mega mushroom line, for me didn't do much. IT COSMETICS - Bye Bye Redness Sensitive Skin Moisturizer have only tested undecided, green tinged gel

Niacinamide may be semi helping mine. Similar product to what I use The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Oil Control Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL
