Need Sunscreen Help!

Help!

Does anyone have any tips on reapplying sunscreen when you already have foundation on? I want to sun protection but I also want to keep my makeup looking nice.

Need Sunscreen Help!

I absolutely love my Tarte powder suncreen! I apply when I step out to lunch and when I leave work to head home. It smells like vanilla and is translucent when applied even though it looks like beige in the container. It does not leave a white cast to skin (I have an olive skin tone). Bonus it lasts me around 5 months with daily use! Side note I tried Supergoop spray and it just clogged all the time. I would highly recommend Tarte.

Re: Need Sunscreen Help!

I've used the setting sprays from Coola, Supergoop and Ulta.  They are ok but I still prefer to spray into my hands then pat on.  However I'm never sure how much protection I'm actually getting based on this application.

I've really liked using a powder, especially the Bare Mineral ones.  I keep a small brush and powder in my desk.

RE: Need Sunscreen Help!

There are facial sprays with SPF , but most contain large quantities of drying alcohol.

@Leela87 You should try out Supergoop's Setting Spray with SPF. You can use it to set your makeup after application and carry it around with you for a refresher on the go! Currently, it's available on the US site as a 100 point perk, which is a perfect way to test something out.

Supergoop also has a translucent setting powder to make reapplying easy.

I carry it with me EVERYWHERE.

Hi @Leela87 . I really like Dr Dennis Gross’ Mineral Facial Spray. It is mineral based so it is a physical blocker. It comes out a milky color but become transparent a few seconds later. With dry sensitive skin, I love it because it is also hydrating and gives a natural glow.

Re: Need Sunscreen Help!

Use a powder sunscreen. Colorescience, tarte, and supergoop make these sunscreen brush things. You don’t have to dip it in the powder, the brush releases the powder when you brush it on your face, If that makes sense.
