Multi Masking in one sitting?

Hey! Looking for advice or thoughts on whether or not it's a good idea to multi-mask? For example, use a deep cleansing mask, wash it off, use a moisturizing mask, wash it off, then use a tightening mask, and wash that off.

Is this a good idea or bad idea?

Re: Multi Masking in one sitting?

Totally agree... multi-masking is amazing!  I have dry skin, so whenever I do a clarifying/clay mask, I always follow up with a sheet mask or some other hydrating mask.

Same here.  Like @Lotus15, I do a clarifying mask followed by a hydrating mask.  I have combo-dry skin and try to do this once a week.  It's what the esthetician does when I go in for a facial.  My skin has responded really well to multimasking since I've been doing it.

I agree with @Aaliaa. As long as you don’t use two of the same kind of masks, you’re good to go! I love to clay mask, sheet mask then lip and eye mask. It’s my Sunday ritual. It just takes the week away and gives me “me time”. My husband and kids know not to bother mommy when my door is closed! Cause it’s the only time of the week it is!

Re: Multi Masking in one sitting?

I've gotten really into multi-masking. You just need to be careful not to use the same 'type' of mask with same actives/ingredients during the same session. I wouldn't use a sulphur and clay mask or 2 types of exfoliators simultaneously. I tend to do 2/3 masks  at a time and the last one will me a soothing/moisturizing mask like the PTR Cucumber Mask. Hope that helps you @RaquelHort
