Microneedling thoughts

Has anyone else tried microneedling? If so, what were your results? I tried it for a few months but didn't see major results maybe I expected too much in little amount of time. Thinking of trying it again but don't know what I should do different.

RE: Microneedling thoughts

Give it another shot. But this time take a before shot and compare after a few treatments. It can be a slow process and it also depends how deep your aesthetician is puncturing the skin. They can adjust the needle length on the pen. Mine does the whole .5 to give me a kick but my skin can handle it and i dont mind avoiding people for a few days while my skin heals. I will attach a photo of my microneedling progress so far. I also get chemical peels after my needling session. Which i will say really burn and has me squirming when it's first applied.

Re: Microneedling thoughts

I had a couple dermarolling sessions at a medi-spa a while back, and some at home treatments for a chicken pox scar on my forehead. It helped fill in my scar a bit, and the treatments at the spa worked better for sure. I could see myself getting more similar treatments, but I think I might just need some sort of filler to smooth it out once and for all...!

All in all, go to a dermatologist or medical skin person and talk out some options. I wouldn't do it at home.
