Mia 2 - tips, suggestions, thoughts, etc.

Finally broke down and purchased the MIA 2 brush cleaning system. I have heard such great things about it....any users out there that have comments, tips, etc. and do you think it was worth the price?

RE: Mia 2 - tips, suggestions, thoughts, etc.

Yes!! I just recently bought the Mia 2 and I Loooooove it!! I’ve been using it twice a day very consistently for a few weeks and I can’t imagine going back! I bought the stand at Ulta and it is super practical. Makes drying or charging a breeze. Which face cleanser have you been using? I’ve been using my normal cleanser in the morning (Murad) but I’ve been using the little tube of Clarisonic cleanser that came with the brush at night because it lathers so nice. I like their cleanser, but I’m not sure if I’ll be purchasing it in the future. I have my little routine. 😂 I haven’t had any issues with my skin purging. But then again, my skin is pretty “normal” and i don’t often breakout. I highly recommend getting the foundation brush attachment. It is worth every penny!! You will be amazed at how great it works. One of my girlfriends actually noticed the difference and asked me how I made my skin look so smooth!! Score Clarisonic!! Hope you’re loving yours as much as I’m loving mine!! 😊❤️

Re: Mia 2 - tips, suggestions, thoughts, etc.

I love my Mia 2! It was a gift this past Christmas and I jumped right in using it twice a day even though I do have sensitive skin. If my skin was going to “purge” I wanted to know or if it was too harsh I could decrease use right away. I’ve had no issue. My skin took to it amazingly. Mine came with the radiance brush head on it which I absolutely love... am thinking when it comes to replacement I may give the cashmere ones a try though. I usually use the first setting and maybe once a week or so use the higher setting for a deeper clean. I do also take the brush head off once a week as recommended and clean the inside. I have not found any build up under there yet but I remove my makeup prior to using it so that could be helping to keep it clean. I hope you love it too because I definitely think it’s worth it for how dramatically it’s impacted my skin for the better.

I have the Mia 1 and I adore it way more than I thought I would.  I use it a few times a week, mostly with the radiance head and the cream.  Perhaps once a week with the deep pore.  I have one other head (from a 4 pack) that I haven't used yet.  My skin feels smoother than it's probably felt since I was like 10.

Re: Mia 2 - tips, suggestions, thoughts, etc.

@Anonymous Yay!!!! Welcome to the Clarisonic family! I absolutely love mine. I don’t have sensitive skin at all so I started full force at twice a day on the high setting. Of you are, try once or every other day on low then work your way up. Now, some people say their skin purges in the first few weeks of use. Mine never did that. My skin issues were oilyness and slight texture. The oil was my biggest concern. So to be fair, I don’t experience acne or hormonal breakouts. I’ve been very lucky when it comes to that. If you feel like you are purging, keep at it. Don’t give up. It will get better. Also, I exclusivley use the Radiance Brush Head. It’s gentle yet effective. The acne is too harsh and the cashmere is too soft. In between uses, I take some anti-bacterial soap and give it a quick wash with that to remove excess makeup and gunk from the brush head. I purchased the stand (exclusively at ulta) and it’s been a great help to dry and accessible next to my sink. Lastly, if you’re ever up for it...the foundation brush attachment! It’s so amazing. You’ll Cream contour like a pro and your foundation will apply seamlessly. It truly an amazing addition. I’m excited to hear how you like it so far. It was my first purchase into the world of skincare years ago and has been my ride or die since! ❤️❤️❤️

Re: Mia 2 - tips, suggestions, thoughts, etc.

I myself have been curious about the foundation brush attachment.

Re: Mia 2 - tips, suggestions, thoughts, etc.

I was hesitant about the foundation brush attachment. I bought one of the Christmas sets with it at Ulta after Christmas when they were marked down. I now use it every time to apply my foundation and cream contour. I highly recommend it.

Re: Mia 2 - tips, suggestions, thoughts, etc.

Definitely recommend it @shyvicki. It makes foundation and cream contouring soooo easy and quick!

Re: Mia 2 - tips, suggestions, thoughts, etc.

I second @darlyndar.  The foundation brush is one of my favorite things ever.  It's absolutely worth it @shyvicki!

Re: Mia 2 - tips, suggestions, thoughts, etc.

Thank you soooo much!! My biggest concern is oiliness as well! The kit I purchased came with two radiance brushes and the deep pore brush.  Do you ever use this for an extra deep clean? I really appreciate your comment, it has been super helpful and I will def look into the foundation attachment!  I never thought I would be so excited about a face cleaning tool! LOL

Re: Mia 2 - tips, suggestions, thoughts, etc.

@Anonymous I do own the deep pore brush head and use it every so often. Mostly in the morning if I slept with a full face of makeup on. I work 2 late nights a week so it happens sometimes. I also Mask after. Since your oily like me, this will help you sooooo much! Your skincare will absorb deeper into your skin and you’ll get the full benefits. I know you just shelled out a lot of cash for it but look into the stand. It really does help with storing it. I also have no doubt that you’ll love the foundation brush as well! It’s such a versatile tool. You should be excited! Your skincare game has just entered a whole new level. ❤️❤️
