I use oils. I alternate between argan oil and coconut oil. The most important things are to make sure you keep the areas moisturized and not over exfoliating. I have not had issues since I started doing these things. I hope this helps you out! 😊

Have you experimented with scrubs? I have KP on my arms and my go-tos are L'Occitane Shea Butter scrub (I especially love this scrub during cool weather because it's so moisturizing). Malin & Goetz Peppermint scrub has worked wonders for me too.

+1 on Amlactin and changing up your diet is supposed to help too. I also shower with an exfoliating Japanese wash cloth by Salux that you can find on Amazon and Asian markets!

Re: Keratosis Pilaris! HELP

I've started using acids that I didn't love for my face to treat the keratosis pilaris on my arms! I had a cheap cosRx AHA that didn't do anything for my face but is working wonders on my arms. Just be careful to wear sunscreen if you're using products with AHAs!

RE: Keratosis Pilaris! HELP

Anything with AHAs and BHAs for gentle chemical exfoliation will help, plus light moisturizing like FAB's moisturizer in the little tub.

RE: Keratosis Pilaris! HELP

I have found glycolic acids to be extremely helpful. I have KP all over my legs and this is the only thing that has really made a difference. Pixi has a great glycolic acid toner that is gentle. I also had good results using the Peter Thomas Roth glycolic body washes.

Re: Keratosis Pilaris! HELP

I get KP on my arms, shoulders and neck and have found that urea lotions (carbamide, not diazolidinyl urea or imidazolidinyl urea) or lactic acid lotions and serums work really well. Excipial 20% urea lotion, AmLactin (lactic acid), Gold Bond Rough & Bumpy (lactic acid) are good ones to try. Also have your vitamin levels checked; KP sometimes caused by low levels of vitamin A.
