Is SK-II worth the splurge?

For those that have tried the brand, do you guys really think it is worth the price tag? Or is it just a placebo effect. Because I have seen people ranging from having amazing skin to not so good skin who claim to use it everyday ๐Ÿ˜•

Re: Is SK-II worth the splurge?

"Worth it" is very personal, you know?

That being said, the essence from SK-II didn't work for me - it made my dry skin feel tighter. Nor did the RNA power eye cream - gave me little red bumps (I stopped using it after a couple nights). I got scared from trying more of their products after those two...maybe I will try their face cream sometime in the future.

But then again, A LOT of people LOVE those products, so you might have to just try it out for yourself.

Re: Is SK-II worth the splurge?

@itzmaryxI love this and the Missha and to be honest, I don't notice that much of a dif. Both really hydrate my skin though. Daily usage has made a huge difference.

Re: Is SK-II worth the splurge?

@itzmaryx Costco has an 11 oz one for sale - I'm assuming the price is decent ๐Ÿ™‚

Re: Is SK-II worth the splurge?

@itzmaryx I own it and love it...BUT...I also own Missha First Treatment Essence and it is a very comparible  dupe at more than half the price. I feel that if itโ€™s something that anyone can afford...do it. The only essence I re-purchase with no hesitation is AMOREPACIFIC - Vintage Single Extract Essence. There is nothing on the market like this!

RE: Is SK-II worth the splurge?

I think that this product is definitely over hyped. You just have to understand that there is no miracle that would work for everyone. This is more of a high end product and I would advice to splurge on it only if you have an opportunity and desire to try it. If you feel like itโ€™s not the best time financially, try to find cheaper equivalents. But if you can afford to try it with a complete understanding that it may not satisfy all your needs, then definitely go ahead and do so๐Ÿ˜‰ From multiple reviews we can say that generally people love it, but there is always a chance that something that works for many will not work for you.

Re: Is SK-II worth the splurge?

@itzmaryx I use it and love SK-II - Facial Treatment Essence My Mom loves their eye cream and face cream.  It really worked for our skin but then again everybody is different.  For me and my Mom it is definitely worth every penny.

Which face cream? Do you have sensitive skin?

Re: RE: Re: Is SK-II worth the splurge?

@itzmaryx My Mom uses SK-II - R.N.A. POWER Face Cream

My Mom does have sensitive skin.
