Is GLAMGLOW worth it?

I know many people who use it, and it seems like a pretty rich product BUT the company isn't cruelty free which kinda drive me away from it 😞 What are their best products?

I have sensitive and combination skin btw

Re: Is GLAMGLOW worth it?

I only have experience with the flashmud brightening treatment. I liked it but agree with what others said - you can get similar results with less expensive products. It did help reduce my dull skin and slightly improved its tone but the results were not dramatic enough for me to justify the price.

The only high end mask I would really say is worth the  hype is the tata harper clarifying mask. It's similar to flashmud but it does a lot more in less time. Unlike flashmud you only have to use it once a week to see real results. After one use I noticed  dramatic improvement in my skin tone and texture. It even helped calm my acne flareups and sped up their healing time. It is pretty expensive for the amount you get but since you need to use it less than glamglow and you get more benefits, I think it's worth it. Also, tata harper products are all-natural, cruelty-free and vegan-friendly.

Re: Is GLAMGLOW worth it?

I have sensitive dry skin that every once in a long while gets an oily break out.

I really like GlamGlow, but as many others have said here, I have found other options that I liked better or just as much that were cheaper.  L'Oreal makes really great clay masks (the orange one is my favorite) that I find actually perform better than a lot of the higher end masks I've tried.

If you're looking for high end, I also really like Peter Thomas Roth masks and find they perform well.

Re: Is GLAMGLOW worth it?

You can definitely get the same results or better from other cheaper products. Also, I'm not a fan of their jar packaging for some things like the supermud clearing mask. That ended up drying out on me before I could finish the tub. ::womp womp::

Re: Is GLAMGLOW worth it?

I don't believe it is worth the hype or the price. You can find better substitutes for their products. I  kinda liked the Power Mud, (I think that's the one that cleans out pores?), but switched to Sephora's charcoal mud mask and got the same results, but for half the price. Honestly I wouldn't use their peel-off masks or their glitter masks. That's because of personal beliefs though, I don't think peel off masks are good for the skin and glitter has no place in skincare.

I have the Powermud (the green one) and I like it pretty well, but I got it from a wholesale club for about 1/3 the regular price. I won't repurchase it because I'm only buying CF now, and there are enough CF high-end skincare lines out there that I already have shifted my $$ to.

Well said @fieldsofclover. You can find products that work just as well, that have mindful ingredients and processes, and more affordable pricing.

@bakeamuffin And to be honest, I'm getting similar results from using other charcoal/mud masks and then double cleansing afterward. So it is mostly paying for convenience and a bit of novelty.

RE: Is GLAMGLOW worth it?

I have the supermud clearing treatment (the white one) and it's really nice however the price point is super annoying. It instantly makes your skin feel smooth and refreshed, but it made my face look red & inflamed for about 30 minutes after use. I have combination and acne prone skin.
