How many serums do you use?

How many serums do you use?  It seems like there are so many I want to try but how much can you really layer them on?  Between toner, moisturizer, SPF, and maybe primer...that's enough shhtuff on your face but I want to use two serums at morning and night. Is this excessive?

@SHERRLE  You can use as many serums as your skin will tolerate. Just note that some dermatologists (including mine) say it’s best to keep your skincare as efficient as possible. This helps ensure you’ll actually follow your routine. And if your skin throws a tantrum over an ingredient in one of your products, it’s harder to find the culprit if you’re layering 10+ skincare products on your skin each day or night. Cleanser, toner, two serums, moisturizer, and sunscreen (I consider primer to be a makeup product, unless your sunscreen acts as a primer) doesn’t sound excessive to me, depending on which serums they are.

Serums I use on a consistent daily basis:

There are other serums I’ll use occasionally, depending on what my skin needs that day or night. If I need extra hydration, I use The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + HA Serum for Facial Wrinkles 1 oz / 30 mL  or The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% Serum  . To reduce inflammation, I’ll use a licorice root or centella asiatica serum. And sometimes I test a new-to-me serum in place of one of my usuals.

Re: How many serums do you use?

@SHERRLE @I use a serum under my eyes, on my neck, and either a vitamin c serum or retinol, and a firming serum.
