Foreo Luna Mini 2 Malfunctioning

So I've had the Foreo Luna Mini 2 for a couple of months now and have loved it. However, recently it's began to stop after only the first cycle (up into the first beep that tells you to move on to a different part of your face). I tried googling it and there have been several people with the same issue so I'm not sure if it's a defect. Has anyone else had this issue?
