Hello everyone,

I have one of the hardest times getting my perfect shade anywhere in any brand.

Ive tried

Fenty Beauty

Smashbox

Mac

Born This Way

Rare Beauty

Nars

oxygenetix

plenty more don’t recall 

 
ive bought summer and winter colors and they match for about a week and then I never get the shade back and I’m at a loss where I just use concealer and everything but foundation and tinted moisturizers. Any advice ?

@Victoriaa2914 Have you tried mixing shades to custom make your own shade to match?

definitely have tried mixing the shades, it's always a hit or miss and once it oxidizes it looks off sadly.

@Victoriaa2914 Interesting.  I mix all the time and don't have issues.  Are you wearing the right undertone?

I think i am, I buy neutral or olive undertoned foundations, not sure if that's right

@Victoriaa2914 Have you gone to a beauty counter and got either matched or told what undertone you are?

they usually tell me warm to neutral and the shade match is always off

@Victoriaa2914, I'm wondering if you're an olive undertone.  Sometimes you need a neutral or golden tone, and if it's still off, you can warm it up with a bronzer. 

(Sorry you haven't gotten a match btw.  I know how bothersome that can be.)
