Fav skin care lines!!

I want to know what are the best brands out there, and why? There are so many brands out there that don’t work, but there are many that are the best ever. Please respond what work in your opinion.

Re: Fav skin care lines!!

@Avaforever  “The best” brand or brands that do/don’t work depends partly on your individual skin type/behavior and skincare goals/issues. Example: my skin hates essential perfuming oils, so brands that use essential oils in most of their products won’t work for me. Some people’s skin seems fine with essential oils, so those brands might work for them.

Figure out what you want skincare products to do for your own skin: what does your skin really need, what issues do you want to address, what goals do you have for your skin? Use that info to help you narrow the crazywide field of skincare brands and products. You’ll probably end up using products from different brands, which many people (including me) do.

For my particular skin (mostly-dry combo, quite reactive/inflammation-prone) and skincare issues/goals (hyperpigmentation, increased acne breakouts, very oily nose, prone to dry patches elsewhere), there’s no single brand whose entire product line I can use. My routine’s a mix of products mostly by Paula’s Choice, CeraVe, Vanicream, Avène, Abib, COSRX, e.l.f., Hyper Skin, The Inkey List, The Ordinary, Aveeno, and Peach Slices. And I use sunscreens made by several different brands including La Roche-Posay, Supergoop, Avène, Round Lab, Eucerin, and others I’m forgetting right now.

Re: Fav skin care lines!!

My favourites would be Juice Beauty, the Ordinary, and the Inkey List. Juice Beauty Stem Cellar Day & Night Duo are great and I really see a difference in the fine lines and softness if my skin with regular use. The INKEY List Retinol Eye Cream 0.5 oz/ 15 mL has been perfect for specific areas of concern and doesn't cause redness or irritation. I also started using The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronic Moisture Lock Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL . Too soon to say if it's amazing but I'm not getting dried out like I normally would in the winter.

Re: Fav skin care lines!!

@Avaforever  Youth to the People, Tatcha, and Dr. Dennis Gross are my top brands. Youth To The People Superfood Hydrating Gentle Antioxidant Refillable Cleanser is the best cleanser I’ve ever tried, it cleanses well and doesn’t dry out my skin. If your skin gets sensitive or dry Youth To The People Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Peptides 4 oz/ 118 mL is very soothing and refreshing. Tatcha has some of the best moisturizers I’ve tried. The Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Advanced Retinol + Ferulic Triple Correction Eye Serum 0.5 oz/ 15 mL is the best eye treatment I’ve found that I can tell makes a difference and the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta® Universal Daily Peel Pads are the best for exfoliation.

Re: Fav skin care lines!!

@Avaforever I own the most in PC and FAB.  Excellent selection and work for me.

Re: Fav skin care lines!!

I personally like the Bubble brand but they don’t have it here at Sephora. They have it at Ulta though. But I also like the Laneige Water Brand it’s great!
