Facial Oils- Before OR after moisturizers?

I feel like everyone has a different answer. I fallen in love with Tarte’s maracuja oil and Korres wild rose oil but not sure if they should be applied before or after moisturizer. Logic would say after moisturizer since oil would seal in the moisturizer but I’ve heard several people say to apply before. Thoughts?!? I have fairly normal skin (maybe slightly dryer in the winter months but I live in Texas so it’s a short winter 😉).

@Layce711 Tarte is a thicker oil, use after to seal in or alone. Korres haven't used the oil, if lighter can go under moisturizer.

@Layce711 I love Korres wild rose oil and often use it as last step of my night time routine. That being said almost all of my serum swith a few exceptions are oils so it is more like after toning and essence I use serum oil then moisturizer and then at the end a facial oil or balm to seal everything. 

What I mean is if you are using it as a treatment serum,use it before moisturizer but if it is an extra step for added hydration then apply it at the end of your routine after you moisturizer. The most important thing is to leave reasonable time between two products so the first one can absorb completely in your skin before you proceed to the next one.

@Layce711 I have dry skin and use oils before and after moisturizer.  I think do what works for you. That’s what has worked for my skin.
