Does anyone use facial mists/ sprays for whatever reason? If so, what product would you recommend? Thanks.
As basic as this sounds I use the Evian Facial Spray. It's just water but that's why I feel like it's so good. My skin feels kinda icky when I start adding more skincare products throughout the day and it does react negatively to it. The other thing is, normally product just sits on top of my face (if I apply anything after sunscreen) but I believe that's because my skin is oily and I'm in a very humid climate.
It depends on how you would like the mist to perform. I personally like the Herbivore Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Mist 4.0 oz/ 120 mL as more of a prep before moisturizing.
If you want something more moisturizing, the LANEIGE Cream Skin Mist 2.54 oz/ 75 mL is a great mist as well.
Hope this helps!
@FashionistaL I use Byoma Balancing Face Mist at work. It’s mostly to help rehydrate my skin mid-way through my day if it starts to feel dry.
For glow and hydration I love my must by Glow Recipe @FashionistaL
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine Mist 2.53 oz/ 75 mL 💝
@FashionistaL Youth To The People Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Peptides 4 oz/ 118 mL gives me some Hydration and glow. I'm on my third bottle.
Thanks for your help! Didn’t know about that brand.
so refreshing i loveeee it
Thanks for your help!
@FashionistaL What are you hoping a facial mist will do for you skin? That line of thinking should help you decide whether or not you need one in the first place. 🙂
For reference, I have mostly-dry combo skin that’s quite reactive/inflammation-prone. I use a facial mist between certain steps of my skincare routine, especially right before I apply moisturizer. This gives my moisturizer some hydration to seal in, so I don’t end up sealing in dryness. Throughout the day, I might use a facial mist if my skin feels dry, tight, or irritated, or if I just need to cool off a bit.
I alternate 3 facial mists, depending on what my skin needs:
I would want something to help moisturize especially in colder months and banish blemishes when need be.

Thanks for the tag and friendly reminder, @CynthieLu !
@FashionistaL Sounds like @greeneyedgirl107‘s recommendation is right up your alley: I used to use Youth To The People Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Peptides 4 oz/ 118 mL in my winter skin routine and had good results. That mist contains shea butter which is a good moisturizing ingredient. Also contains aloe vera, a great humectant that can also moisturize skin and soothe irritation. If you have redness caused by acne, aloe vera might help calm it down.
For blemishes though (assuming you mean acne blemishes), you’re better off using a separate acne-fighting product. Could be a rinse-off cleanser or mask, or a leave-on toner/exfoliant. If you already use one of those and want another product to partner with it, then I recommend a hypochlorus acid spray like the two I mentioned in my original comment.
Thanks! Wonder if any of those would be good for my oily skin?
