FACEWASH RECOMMENDATION FOR ACNE PRONE SKIN?

I have oily T area on face. I have been using Cetaphil, my face has growing acne (hormonal). Any good recommendations?

Re: FACEWASH RECOMMENDATION FOR ACNE PRONE SKIN?

I agree with a previous post about trying cerave. It is a great, and inexpensive option

@RidhiiVerma

I wish i could fully answer this but I have a question, when you wash your face is it red? or do you struggle with redness in general? and is your face ultra shiny after cleansing? Your acne prone skin could be due to your skin moisturizer barrier being compromised. This was my case so it made my skin super sensitive and acne prone because everything was getting into my skin due to the moisture barrier being compromised.

I love the Skinfix Your Barrier Protectors Kit the moisturizer is amazing and hydrating. Don’t be afraid of a cream moisturizer if you are acne prone. Sometimes gel moisturizers are recommended for acne prone skin but not if you have a great cream moisturizer.

Re: FACEWASH RECOMMENDATION FOR ACNE PRONE SKIN?

I have oily acne prone skin and I loved the tatcha deep cleanse face wash. While searching for a cheaper alternative I found Pacifica kale detox deep cleanse to work well with my skin and la roche posay purifying foaming wash. Hope this helps

I also get hormonal acne and the Fresh Soy face cleanser helps to manage this quite well!!! Would highly recommend 😊🫶

@RidhiiVerma What other products are currently in your routine? You could try a face wash with salicylic acid in it, Cerave makes a good option, but depending on how much acne you're seeing, I'd actually recommend just using a gentle face wash and then a leave-on BHA (salicylic acid) serum two or three nights a week to help with breakouts.
