Eye cream for Sensitive Eyes

Help please! I’ve tried both DE eye serums, Clinique all about eyes, and Origins GinZing ALL of them make my eyes burn after several hours of wearing them. I’ve got dark circles and puffiness in the AM. Any eye cream suggestions that wouldn’t make my eyes burn? Thanks in Advance! 🙂

Re: Eye cream for Sensitive Eyes

@AZtoNMgirl FAB is known for gentle products.  You could try their  First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy A.M. Gel Cream 0.5 oz/ 15 mL

I personally use their FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair® Hydrating Serum

for anti-aging, and found it to be very gentle.

Re: Eye cream for Sensitive Eyes

I agree with the recommendation to see a doctor about this, if you haven’t yet. Screenshot or print out the ingredient lists of the eye creams/serums that’ve burned your eyes, in case your doc wants to see that info.

My eyes are fairly sensitive. I also frequently have allergy flare-ups and sinus infections, making my eyes itchy and watery and sometimes quite red. Even when I’m not in sinus/allergy mode, the vast majority of mascaras on the market make my eyes burn. So do eye creams/serums containing lots of fragrance/perfume.

Have you tried using your face moisturizer as an eye cream? Youth To The People Superfood Air-Whip Lightweight Face Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid 2 oz / 59 mL  didn’t burn my eyes the few times I used it as an eye cream.

I find that product placement helps my eyes. One of my favorite eye moisturizers, KORA Organics Noni Glow Radiant Eye Oil .34 oz / 10 mL  makes my eyes water like crazy—no stinging, burning, or itching, just lots of watering—so I only use it at night when my eyes will be closed. But I’ve very recently found that if I don’t bring that oil up onto the outer corners of my eyes (on my crows feet), my eyes don’t water nearly as much. Ditto with keeping it off my eyes’ inner corners. I think it was making my eyes watery because it was actually seeping into my eyes.

I’ve been using Biossance Squalane + Peptide Eye Gel this month (for daytime) with no eye irritation at all. My usual daytime eye cream, BELIF - Moisturizing Eye Bomb, also doesn’t irritate my eyes. Of course, your eye irritants/issues may be different from mine, so I still recommend seeing a doctor about it. 🙂

Re: Eye cream for Sensitive Eyes

Like @TrysBeautyItems said @AZtoNMgirl , it could be anything. My eyes sometimes get bothered by creams, but I’ve been using  Farmacy Dew It All Total Eye Cream 0.5 oz/ 15 mL

for quite a while with no bad experiences

Eye cream for Sensitive Eyes

sounds like you have sensitive skin like I do. I would recommend the IT cosmetics bye bye under eye. I've been using it and it hasn't bothered my skin. Another favorite of mine is the Bare My skin longevity eye cream. I've tried the ole Henriksen banana bright line and I've always broken out in itchy hives. @AZtoNMgirl

Re: Eye cream for Sensitive Eyes

@AZtoNMgirl Could be an eye thing, so eye doc. Sensitive skin brands, as a whole, La Roche posay and Avene. PERRICONE MD - Hypoallergenic Firming Eye Cream

Clinique is just fragrance free. Origins ginzing  has lots of extracts, shea butter, coffee which can be the culprit.

Re: Eye cream for Sensitive Eyes

Hi @AZtoNMgirl - I highly recommend checking out the eye creams from the brand Skinceuticals. They make amazing, dermatologist recommended skincare products and their eye cream has never made my eyes burn.
