Essence?

I recently just watched Nicole Guirero (I may have butchered spelling her last name, sorry!) make a video about her favourite 2017 products and she mentioned that she recently discovered “essences”. From what she said it’s supposed to help lock in moisture. Has anyone tried an essence and seen results? If so, which one have you tried

I love essences. They do help with moisture and some have targeted benefits for other concerns as well. Most of the ones I use are made by Asian companies and not sold through Sephora, but there are plenty around to try. In addition to the post that @darlyndar suggested, you can also check out the K-beauty board here which has a ton of posts about different aspects of the K-skincare routine and product suggestions.

@BegginerBeauty I looooove Essences. I currently have 4 that I use. There is a thread on Skincare Aware that I started: Korean Beauty: East Meets West. Search it. In it, we go into great detail about the “7 skin method” and what Essences we use. It’s an amazing Korean routine that will help moisturize dry skin, decrease sebum production in oily skin and give the skin a plump, glowing look. I think it will be very beneficial for you!
