Emergency serum help!!!

I used the #fresh Crème Ancienne serum for years. Now they don’t produce it anymore. I had a lot of #Lancôme serum, which seemed okay.  Up to a year or two ago, people would comment about how good my skin is.  I haven’t gone out for any treatments since then, so nobody has commented about it lately. I’m 65 with fair skin (blonde and blue eyes) and my problems are aging, dry skin, especially around my mouth

when I ran out of the Lancôme, I thought I’d try the fresh kombucha serum. It’s a very different type of serum.  I’ve only used it for a couple of months, but since then I’ve seen a dramatic loss of elasticity and the texture if my skin has suffered.  Yesterday I switched to the #Summer Fridays Dream Oasis serum, based on the reviews. (I also made my decision to try the kombucha serum based on reviews, and look where that hit me.

Is this the best choice for my situation? I’m hoping to make up for the damage and lost time using the kombucha.  I’m willing to pay if I can get the best serum, but I don’t want to just throw mi money at products and pray that they’ll work.

@dll770 The fresh Kombucha Antioxidant Facial Treatment Essence  is actually more of a hydrater/toner than a serum, so the results you found from it were more likely due to the elimination of a true serum in your routine. Which Lancôme serum are you referring to? I use Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Serum daily and it’s my absolute favorite. Another fantastic serum I love is Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte’s Magic Serum with Vitamin C but the Lancôme frankly is just a better value for me. 

Do you use any other skin care products in your routine? Our skin does change quite a bit as we age, so it is also very possible you’re also experiencing some of that. When that happens, products that used to be perfect for us all of a sudden “stop working,” and we have to reevaluate things to address the new concerns.
