Eczema and Sensitive Skin

I take skincare seriously from my cleansers to my moisturizers because of growing up with eczema. I also always have sunscreen on to prevent any further damage. I guess mine flares up once the seasons drastically change. Normally it's worst when we go from humid to rain or warm to cold. I'm up for any suggestions as I'm currently using Ole Henriksen's African tea cleanser. Moisturizer/ointment suggestions anyone?

RE: Eczema and Sensitive Skin

I have eczema, I've been dealing with this itchy situation for 13 years about to be 14 . I normally use baby lotion and Vaseline on where I have the irritation , I wait about 10 minutes and I put another layer of lotion and Vaseline , irritation stops Also some of the rashes go away!

Re: RE: Eczema and Sensitive Skin

Oh I like that the products you use are everyday ones. It looks like you've dealt with eczema almost as long as me (it began at the age of 11, I'll never forget it). Vaseline was helpful but I would have to cover areas in saran wrap in my sleep as a child. I think my skin changed as I became an adult, so I had to constantly switch products.

I have eczema as well. The only moisturizer that actually helped with it was Philosphy's Hope in a Jar. I cannot say enough good things about this stuff. it's a life saver. When mine flares up bad that's what I use. I also use their Purity Made Simple facial cleanser every morning. Highly recommend!

Thank you for sharing your personal preferences. I will surely look into these products 🙂

Re: Eczema and Sensitive Skin

I have the adult presentation of eczema on the face as well. I found the oils and serums from Nude very helpful in the winter. Also creams from First Aid Beauty.

Oh good, I'm glad you found something that helps! I quite like the First Aid Beauty line, I'll try more options with their cleansers. Thank You!
