Dry Skin Routine

What’s a good skincare routine for someone with super dry skin? I feel like no matter how much moisturizer I put on, my skin just absorbs it and is still super dry

I don’t know what your skincare routine looks like but here is what i suggest

1) Clean with a gentle cleanser suitable for dry skin

some suggestions:

Cerave cream-to-foam cleanser

Clarins Hydrating Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Aloe Vera 4.5 oz / 125 mL 

2) Add a lotion after cleanser

3) Add a serum

My skin is dry and sensitive. CLINIQUE All About Clean™ Foaming Facial Soap Cleanser with Hyaluronic Acid 5 oz/ 150 mL  is really nice and hydrating! I use a hydrating toner from Pacifica’s collagen line, then the Glossier Super Bounce Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin B5 Hydrating Face Serum 1 oz / 30 mL and the Glossier Priming Moisturizer Rich Face Cream with Ceramides 1.7 oz / 50 mL . My skin has been loving it! Glossier is known for being good for dry skin. Every once in a while I put a thin layer of aquaphor on top of it all overnight to help w the winter dryness. 

it’s not at Sephora but the Pacifica ceramide cream that comes in the purple little tub is really good for when you get eczema outbreaks too! It’s saved my skin on disastrous days and is cheap so I don’t feel bad when I use a lot.
