Dr. Jart Drying Questions

Hi everyone! I’m looking for advice on Dr. Jart Cicapair color correcting cream. It’s the only product that has even succeeded in covering up my red spots, but I really seem to have an issue with it drying down and not being sticky for the rest of the day. If anyone has run into this issue, or may have tips on skin prep/finishing, please let me know! I’ve got pretty dry skin, so I’ve tried without a moisturizer below and it really clings to the dry spots (and still is kind of sticky). But with moisturizer, it’s still pretty slick on my less dry areas. This usually gives me enough coverage to avoid foundation, and my foundation tends to slide off after it anyways. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I’m really trying to wear this instead of foundation !

Re: Dr. Jart Drying Questions

@hewitt i know its not exactly the same but i use the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair ™ Tiger Grass Camo Drops Color Corrector SPF 35 1 oz/ 30 mL  for a similar purpose, and in lieu of foundation. I had a similarly hard time finding where to layer in my routine to avoid it slipping off or pilling.

What i found works best for me was to use a toner/thin lotion or serum first and let it really absorb. The toner works best because its hydrating as well as provides a drier base for the product to lay on top of. After I apply the drops, i let it really dry down before using a light mist to add some hydration back, then layering a thicker moisturizer on top. The dry down time in between makes all the difference in how i find the dr jart performs.

i hope this helps!!
