Do You Use Moisturizer THEN Sunscreen, or Vice Versa?

Moisturizer THEN Sunscreen or Sunscreen THEN Moisturizer? 

I've visited Sephora recently to purchase skin care items. I turned 23 a few months ago, and I wanted to start taking my skin care much more seriously. I've always had pretty clear skin. I lost my Mia 2 about a year ago so I just purchased a new one. Cleansers & scrubs have always been a part of my routine, but I went in to Sephora to add in some other key items. I asked about order of use, and two different people told gave me two answers. One person said moisturizer would be last- the other told me sunscreen should be used last. Which do you use last?

Moisturizer then sunscreen as the last step in your morning skincare routine. Let it set up for 15 minutes while you do your hair or other things, then go in with your makeup products starting with a primer if you want.

What always confuses me is how primer is supposed to fit in to these steps. Over sunscreen?

Hi. Yes, primer would be your first step in makeup. That is, try to put in on after sunscreen. Hope that helps!

There are setting sprays you can use after moisturizer and make up with SPF sunscreen.

Sunscreen should be your last step in skincare. And, reapplication should be done if possible every 2-3 hours. I vouch for mineral as opposed to chemical.

Sunscreen last, though Sephora also has some pretty good moisturizers mixed with sunscreen. I have fairly dry skin that's prone to burning but have still had pretty good results with some of those.

Yes, like @maximalista said, it's moisturizer then sunscreen. Sunscreen is your very last skincare step in the morning (before any makeup application).

Sunscreen supposed to be your last layer. It's always going over skincare
