Disappointed Perk Facial is no long with minimum purchase

One of my favorite things about shopping Skincare at Sephora was the perk facials with minimum $75 purchase. I looked online today and it seems that all beauty services including the facial are no longer with minimum purchase but just an additional charge on their own. Kind of sad, I would not be willing to pay $75 to get a facial in front of shoppers if I could pay little more and get it at a semi decent esthetician in a private and more tranquil setting. I’m Rouge due to purchasing predominantly skincare at Sephora but I’m sad it just keeps giving me fewer and fewer reasons to shop at Sephora and not direct.

First of all. All “FREE” services at Sephora were never officially with a purchase that has always been a myth. I’ve been going to Sephora for years, and never did any FREE services except for classes.
this change is a good thing. I’d rather have a receipt for my service than run the risk of having a “FREE” service I can’t dispute in case of any malpractice. 
And still receive points for my purchase, as well as take home products from the service. 
the reason those services were free, is because it’s required by law that any paid beauty services be conducted by a licensed professional.

All rouge’s perks are pretty much nonexistent lol I’ve been rogue since they came out with this program, spent thousands yearly at Sephora. Their perks going away, plus most of their staffs are uneducated in skincare and makeup, also rude… makes me not want to shop in there. I’ve switched to either shopping directly from bands use or shop at Ulta. Plus they make your points expire! I’ve stopped being rogue for the last 2 years and haven’t missed it at all.

I’m upset that Perk Facials are no longer free with minimum spend.  I’ve been Rouge for about 7 years. In the last few years Sephora has been de-incentivizing Rouge members with more restrictive return policies, no more priority shipping, and now perk facials are being charged. There are so many more companies selling skincare and cosmetics. I am going to start exploring them rather than working to get rouge each year at Sephora. Right now it feels like my loyalty is not being valued.

All of the reasons to shop at Sephora are dwindling. Their great return policy and just about all of the Rouge benefits are gone. I’m out

I was Rouge for years and years and dropped it a couple of years ago because of all the changes. I honestly haven't missed it a bit.

Agree. It’s not worth the cost by itself. I’m very disappointed in this change. Hopefully they change it back.

Also very VERY disappointed in this. I loved being able to spend $70 and get essentially a free facial with it when I was going to spend $70 anyway. 
why would I pay $70 to get a facial in a store in front of people with tester products when I can spend $100 and get one at a spa? this seems like a really dumb move Sephora.

@xamalia I was at Sephora yesterday and saw the price on a sign. I’ve had a perk facial and it is not worth $75. I too would rather go somewhere more private and spa-like for that price.
