Deep scars

Hello,

2 weeks ago my dog bite me in the face, around both my eyebrows, its an american bulldog, so the scars its not pretty... im still healing both my face and heart..  I was wondering if anyone would like to share some "miracle" cream or routine for deep scars?

Thank you!! ❤

Re: Deep scars

@EstherLechat So sorry to read of this horrible event! As @heartsmyface wrote, Polysporin is a must. If not already a health-enthusiast..it'd be prudent to eat 'extra healthy' for next couple months. Take Vit.E capsules.  Avoid things that dehydrate: brewski, wine etc. H20 is def. imperative.  Skin heals from the inside-out too.

Also, perhaps consult with a Derm. if you have not already done so.

Re: Deep scars

Thank you so so much for your awnser! ❤

I knew that cream with vit. E was good, but didnt thought about capsules.. wich is an amazing idea! I have an appointement with my doctor, I will ask him to refer me to a Derm!!

Re: Deep scars

@EstherLechat  Aw I’m so sorry.  That sounds like such a shock emotionally and physically.  When I had surgery polysporin ointment was used until the scar had completely formed to keep it moist at all times and to prevent infection.  Then  Mederma Advanced Scar gel was amazing for both smoothing the scarring and faded it rather quickly.

Once they’re near faded you can start using face peels and ahas to further help reduce their appearance.
I hope you and your pups bond is still alright.  ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for your awnser!! ❤❤

I'm already using polysporin, but I never heard of Mederma, I will definitly look for it!

We are in the process of learning to trust each other again and seeking the help of à specialist!
