Dark circles and bags under my eyes! Help!

It is like I woke up one day and now I have constant bags and dark circles under my eyes! I am in my late 20s and I have seriously tried so many different eye products and concealers. I have tried Lancôme genifique yeux light pearl, Ole henriksen banana cream, boscia under eye cooling de puffing stick, several under eye masks, and I am currently using the rodan and fields eye repair system for the last 3 months with no success! What products have you found that work? I use makeup forever concealer and also have NARs radiantly creamy concealer that I alternate between, but I really don’t like either for my under eye area I feel like they draw more attention to the area than helping!

@KChampagne literally same situation as you lol. I’m 28 and I’ve been obsessed with trying to find a way to get rid of my under eye issues. Honestly the OLEHENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crèmehas been the only product that has worked for me, I had to use it day and night for about 2 weeks before noticing a true difference but the size of my under eye bags have decreased a lot and the darkness surprisingly is almost non existent at this point. Still struggling with puffiness though and it’s only when I wake up. I know Olehenriksen makes an eye duo set, one for night and one for morning that specifically claims to help with puffiness... the one for PM use states it helps reduce the puffiness you wake up with and the one for AM use gets rid of any puffiness that you end up waking up with (over time it will significantly decrease) but I’ve never used it, and I want to try it but sadly it’s out of stock and you can only get it on their website. As of right now for my puffy eyes I’m applying a cold compress under my eyes and massaging the lymphatic fluid build up out by lightly pressing the puffy areas. It definitely works really well, earlier today I went from looking like I had a terrible allergic reaction to something to pretty normal. I saved an empty tube of the eye cream I was using before which had a cooling metal applicator tip and I put it in the freezer for a couple minutes before... then I just apply my cream with my fingers and run the cold tip over it a few times and it works like magic. Time consuming though, so i would love a cream that actually helps with the puffiness.

L'oreal's Lumi concealer, or YSL touche éclat, are both excellent under-eye concealers for this as well.  A diffuse, reflective finish, applied just along the darkest part of your under eye, well, for me it works much better than any traditional concealer.

You know the same thing happened to me in my late 20s .. and it happened SO suddenly.  At first I was like, how did I age overnight?  But with a few more mornings of waking up to a face that didn't look like mine, I put two and two together and realized my eyes were puffy and circled thanks to seasonal allergies (which I had never had before that year).   You could try taking a benedryl at night and seeing if your eyes look better in the morning -- you've at least identified the culprit.

Perricone no more needles eye serum has a fairly instant effect. Banana bright is good for dark circles but did nothing for my puffiness.  

It's half makeup and half skincare, but the Tatcha Pearl was a splurge purchase for me that makes my eyes look great.  I apply such a tiny tiny amount and somehow my eyes are smoothed out, and dark circles are covered, if not gone.  

There's a pretty good Sephora video about how to use concealer for puffy eyes.  If your dark circles are coming from shadows, not under-skin tint, well-placed concealer (or Tatcha pearl) can do wonders.  

Good luck.  Seriously try a benedryl! I'm curious if it helps. 🙂

That is so crazy, I went to allergist a few months ago because I randomly developed environmental and food allergies! I bet that is the culprit. I have not been taking allergy medicine daily, I was only using it when they were really bad. Thank you for your tips I am going to try these!

The only thing that has ever helped me with lightening dark circles is the Drunken Elephant Shaba Serum, it doesnt instantly brighten but with consistent usage I saw a difference. Post eye cream I usually apply a correcter under my eyes I use one from make up forever, for my skin tone I use an orange tone but depending on yours you can either go with orange or pink, after that I apply concealer I use the Nars one or the Kat Von D and lastly the Huda Beauty setting powder.
