RE: Clarisonic vs. Foreo - Help!

I have the Foreo and I love it, I started with the Clarisonic because when I first got it the Foreo wasn't as popular/well known so I figured I'd stick to what I knew. Even with the sensitive head it was still to rough for my skin, it would leave me feeling like I'd been stripped of any moisture and soft skin. It wasn't until I got the Foreo and felt the difference that I realized how great a cleaner could be. It's also so much more economically smart no need to replace brush heads and it's super easy to keep clean. I felt like the clarisonic wouldn't dry fast enough and could potentially be a breeding ground for bacteria.

Clarisonic vs. Foreo - Help!

Foreo hands down!

RE: Clarisonic vs. Foreo - Help!

My vote would definitely go to Clarisonic. I purchased Clarisonic Smart Profile a few months ago and I just like the ‘variety’ of things you can do with it. It came with 3 separate attachments- one for your face cleansing, one for the body and a face massager. You can always purchase new heads. So it has a foundation brush, there’s one head for pedicure (I think). Its so dynamic. Holds the charge. Its a very stable machine & I know this since I dropped my (old) Clarisonic Body brush in shower so many times- it still lasted me 6 plus years! 😝

Re: RE: Clarisonic vs. Foreo - Help!

@Gagan7 how is body option of the Smart compared to the old Plus model? I know there's no handle and the shape is different, do you find you're missing the handle? I'm tall, so trying to figure out if the Smart is worth it for me.

Assume your old is now dead, 'lasted 6 years', how did it die? lol Mine may be having charging/holding a charge issues.

Re: Clarisonic vs. Foreo - Help!

I have a discontinued Clarisonic. It typically comes with the sensitive head, the delicate is softer, cashmere is the softest. Deep pore is good too.

However don't use 2x day, usually too much for the skin and let the tool do the work. Also use a non exfoliator cleanser.

Depending on where you look, clarisonic has gwps, holidays bring sets too. Also the number of speeds is important - Mia has 1 speed which can be too abrasive. This speed is #2 on the others.

@Sarajazz

I also have a MicroPure, similar to the Clarisonic (cheaper too), the head is softer, but still works well. Waterproof as well and has a charging base, battery built in.

Another vote for the foreo! I found the clarasonic too harsh of my skin and it left it irritated, even with the sensitive brush head. I love my Foreo! As others have said, it is nice since you don't have to buy new brush heads and it is super easy to clean. I also love that a charge lasts for months!

Sensitive brush head is pretty rough. I would recommend radiance one instead.

RE: Clarisonic vs. Foreo - Help!

I have the Clarisonic Mia 2 and the FOREO Fofo and I prefer my Clarisonic. I have very oily skin that is prone to cystic acne and I find that my Clarisonic provides the right amount of gentle cleansing for my skin. I use both the sensitive and the cashmere cleanse brush heads, depending on which is cheapest, and I apply barely any pressure when I use it so it isn’t too rough for my skin. I also use the foundation brush head to apply my foundation and contour. It is probably one of my most versatile beauty tools. I only use it at night and I rarely have to charge it. In comparison, the FOREO Fofo feels like it’s doing barely anything.

Also you would be surprised how often you can find the Clarisonic brush heads on sale. There is normally a sale around Black Friday, they typically have gift sets available around the holidays, and they occasionally pop up at TJ Maxx

RE: Clarisonic vs. Foreo - Help!

i have the mini foreo luna (the one you can get for like $50 and you can replace the batteries - found at nordstrom) and i really like it!! compared to the clarisonic, which my mom has, i prefer my foreo. although it’s quite small, you only need to replace the battery every once in a while - i’ve had it for a while now, i use it every day, and i still haven’t had to replace the battery!! for the clarisonic, you’d have to replace the brush head every three months, which will set you back around like $20-$30 after paying a hefty price for the device itself. so i prefer my foreo, and if you get the larger one, although the price is quite high, it has two sides and adjustable massage speeds.

I really like the foreo! You don’t have to worry about replacing the brush heads or anything. And you charge the foreo once and it’s good for like 6 months at a time! I love mine!
