Bumpy skin help

Hi hi! So lately my skin has been super bumpy and I've gotten a lot of pimples on my forehead! I was hoping you guys could recommend a good toner and cleanser preferably ones that aren't too expensive! Thanks in advance!

Bumpy skin help

o m gosh yesterday I pulled out my FAB aha intensive peel and wow did it dry up my acne spots @anasofiar

Re: Bumpy skin help

I’ll check it out thank you so much!

Re: Bumpy skin help

Hi! Pixi Glow Tonic is an effective glycolic acid toner (5%) that helps with texture/bumps. It’s really affordable and available at Target! For cleansers, Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser is one of my go-tos; It’s affordable and thoroughly cleanses without stripping. Avene and La-Roche Posay also do amazing affordable cleansers—I like the Avene Oil Free Cleansing Gel and La Roche Posay Toleriane Dermo Cleanser.

Re: Bumpy skin help

Awesome thank you! I’ve heard good things about those products so I’ll check them out!

Re: Bumpy skin help

For toner I really like the  The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner 8 oz/ 240 mL ! It's cheap and the bottle is huge -- I would start out using toners every other day until your skin gets used to it, and make sure to moisturize after 🙂

For cleansers it depends on your skin type. My skin can be dry but gets oily on my forehead throughout the day, I use  First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser – Gentle Hydrating Cleanser 5 oz/ 150 mL , the mini is cheap!

Also, if you're getting forehead pimples I would check out your shampoos, hats, and (if you are someone who sleeps on their stomach) your pillowcase! All these things can lead to pimples too 🙂

Re: Bumpy skin help

Thank you so much! I’ll be sure to check the products out. I’ve also noticed that I’ve been touching my face a lot throughout the day so that could also be making it worse I have to stop😂

RE: Bumpy skin help

Hi! An excellent toner to use is the Mario Badescu cucumber cleansing toner ! Also if you are getting pimples he has a great drying lotion spot treatment! They don’t sell it at Sephora but they have his products at Blue Mercury and online (some department stores too). Also all of his products are super reasonable in price! They are around 15 dollars!

Re: RE: Bumpy skin help

Thank you! I’ve been meaning to try the drying lotion but I didn’t know if it was worth it!
