Blue Tansy Mask

A few months ago I tried the Blue Tansy mask in a trial size and fell in love! My acne started to clear up with it, so I knew I had to purchase the full size. After only a couple of uses I have noticed a film on the top of the mask, it almost looks like oil, has anyone else had this issue? Is it normal? Since I have acne, I’m very careful about using applicators and cleaning them with each use so that shouldn’t be the problem. I’m scared to keep using it because I don’t want to introduce bacteria to my face if that’s what it is. Any help would be much appreciated!!

Re: Blue Tansy Mask

@Haley4356 I've used an entire container of this mask and I'm onto my second one. That oil-like film is always there. If you look at the ingredients, you'll see that there is an oil ingredient, blue tansy oil, in this mask - over time they it might separate. Shake it up or mix it around if the oily looking film bothers you. Unless you see little floaties/clumps, mold, if it smells bad, etc. or any indication that it's gone off, it should be safe to use.

I used the container for about a year with no issues.

Thank you so much @k617! I feel a lot better knowing it’s not just mine

Re: RE: Re: Blue Tansy Mask

This is on mine, too; when I opened the jar for the first time it had that film. But it's a natural product, so I wasn't too concerned. You just gotta jiggle it a little. 🙂
