Best serum/routine for dark spots?

Hi all! I have some discoloration around my cheeks and it feels slightly more rough than the rest of my skin.. What serums could help me? Or products, more broadly speaking? I wash with Boscia Detoxifying Black cleanser and moisture with Dr. Jar Water Fuse. I want to start getting more serious about my skincare routine and would love some tips on masks, serums, cleansers and moisturizers... I have normal to combination skin. Thank you!

I'm using Korres eye and face serum and it works pretty fast. In three days my dark spots lighten dramatically and in a week they are almost completely gone. Plus, if you have dark circles, this helps as well.

Have you tried the Caudalie Vinoperfect serum yet? I don't struggle with dark spots, but I still use it (and love); a close girlfriend swears it helped her dark spots and even lightened a scar from a bad curling iron burn

I use a chemical exfoliatiant. On weekdays I use Sunday Riley Good Genes (along with Luna and Tidal), weekends I use Ole Henricksen Night Transformation Gel. My skin has responded to these products so much better than physical exfoliation.

either PTR pumpkin enzyme mask 2-3 times a week for exfoliation, brightening, and evening tone and texture or OLE henrickson's powerpeel kit once a week really helps with exfoliation and dark spots followed by his vitamin C serum (i believe its called truth serum in an orange bottle)

It's a constant battle... but exfoliation helps. I also recently started using a vitamin C serum and my skin seems brighter, but I'm not sure if it's attributed to that or other things.

If the dark spots are due to acne, consider also adding acne products for preventative treatment.

I have struggled for years with dark spots and hyperpigmentation and have tried every product in the book. I struggled for years with dark spots and finally got rid of them for good. They haven't come back for the past 6 months. There are two key things I have done everyday that worked; use an exfoliating cleanser and rub aloe vera on skin after cleansing, before any serums or moisturizers. I've honestly never found a serum that worked for my dark spots so I just focus on overall skin health when it comes to my serum (Antioxidants and hyalouronic acid are must haves.)

The daily exfoliation sloughs off skin cells so it renews itself more quickly and also allows products to penetrate deeper into the skin. The aloe vera has vitamins that brighten and rejuvenate the skin. It will take about a month to achieve results but hopefully this helps.
