Best natural deodorant?

I am thinking about making the switch to a natural deodorant. There are so many choices I don’t even know where to start. I don’t usually sweat a lot. What would you recommend?

Re: Best natural deodorant?

I’ve been an Agent Nateur user for 2 years. The No. 3 scent (eucalyptus) works best for me. I’ve worn it in hot (90+F) sweaty Florida weather during full days of walking around Epcot (Food & Wine Festival) and it’s kept me non-stinky.

No. 4 (rose) works, but I have to reapply it after a few hours. When I shower at night, I usually wear No. 4 to bed. I LOVE the scent of No. 5 (cedar, vetiver, sandalwood) but it doesn’t work well on me. 😞 I sometimes wear it to bed simply for aromatherapy purposes.

If your skin’s sensitive to baking soda, Agent Nateur also has a deodorant that doesn’t contain it. Kopari’s coconut deodorant also contains no baking soda.

Before using Agent Nateur, I tried Vapour’s AER deodorants. They have a little trial set of all 3 of their scents for $10; at their site, search for “AER trial” and it should come up. 2 of the scents worked for me, but they didn’t last all day. Some folks have better luck with them than I did, though.

I haven’t tried many others. As soon as I found that Agent Nateur worked so well for me, I ended my search. 😄 It took a week or 2 for my armpits to adjust, after decades of antiperspirant use. My armpit skin did darken a tiny bit, but I don’t care about that at all. I do regularly shave my armpits; I’m not squeamish at all about the appearance of hairy pits, I just find I’m less stinky when I keep ‘em shaved. So I can’t say much about how effective Agent Nateur or any natural deodorant is on unshaven pits.

Thank you so much @WinglessOne!❤️

RE: Best natural deodorant?

Hey girl. My favorite brand ever is shmidts, however, it does seem like a lot people do experience redness or irritation from shmidts. I haven’t though and I’ve tried everything. Another popular brand is lavanila the healthy deodorant which you can find on the Sephora website, but I personally found that it doesn’t last long enough for me, but I do sweat a lot as I’m a fitness instructor. Hope this helps 🙂
