Best Makeup Wipes?

I'm looking for makeup wipes that remove waterproof mascara and don't require a lot of pressure to remove dirt and clean pores! Does anyone know anything that fits the description? Is there anything with natural ingredients? Thank you guys.

Re: Best Makeup Wipes?

Ive read many times that make up wipes are a bad idea and not at all good for your skin. Once in a while after a late night theyre great, but for daily skin care wipes arent advisable. They are various reasons why dermatologists say to avoid them ranging from the dragging motion used to remove makeup to the chemicals used in the products to give them a long shelf life. I always have a bottle of Diors Micellar water and some cotton wool balls available for the times I just dont have the energy to wash my face properly, Im not sure if this is much better but it certainly feels like a more nourishing and kinder cleanser!

For mascara specifically I LIVE for too faced mascara melt off. It is AMAZING!

RE: Best Makeup Wipes?

I have to agree the Sephora collection wipes are really good! I used to have the charcoal ones, but I think I was exfoliating too much with them. Now I have the rose one and it is incredible!

Re: Best Makeup Wipes?

@SephoraBeauty01 I like the Sephora Collection wipes.

Re: Best Makeup Wipes?

@SephoraBeauty01 I love MAC wipes but also use Yes to Cucumbers makeup wipes.

Re: Best Makeup Wipes?

@SephoraBeauty01  I really like using RMS BEAUTY - The Ultimate Makeup Remover Wipes

they are all natural. I also like the SEPHORA COLLECTION - Cleansing & Exfoliating Wipes

as a great alternative.

Re: Best Makeup Wipes?

@SephoraBeauty01 I use makeup remover wipes by the Creme Shop! There are a ton of choices (I like the charcoal ones and the rose water personally), and they’re cruelty free. There’s also green tea, coconut, vitamin c, collagen, pineapple and many others. They do a great job, and one is enough. That being said - I second @Fortyniner49 suggestion of oil. For mascara removal I use the TOO FACED - Mascara Melt Off Cleansing Oila tube lasts a long time, and even though it’s for waterproof mascara specifically, I use it for regular mascara too because with a wipe I have to do almost no rubbing of my lashes to get then product off. I use the Boscia MakeupBreakUp Cool cleaning oil, which has the clean seal at Sephora if you’re specific about ingredients ☺️

RE: Best Makeup Wipes?

Simple brand face wipes work beautifully and takes off waterproof mascara. Cheap, easily available at the drugstore, unscented and doesn’t wreak havoc on my sensitive skin. I’ve tried lots of expensive brand wipes from Sephora and honestly none of them do a better job, and many of them are scented and irritate my skin.

Have you ever tried a cleansing oil? I know you're asking about wipes but oils are amazing at melting makeup off especially eye makeup! I use the sephora brand supreme cleansing oil, apply it on your face, hold your fingers over your eyes to warm it up and then add some water, wipe off with a cloth, voila all gone! Follow with a second cleanse and your face is squeaky clean!

Hi @SephoraBeauty01,

I suggest the SEPHORA COLLECTION Cleansing & Exfoliating Wipes in Coconut! I have sensitive skin and this one works really well and does not leave my skin feeling tight and dry.

Re: Best Makeup Wipes?

@SephoraBeauty01  It's not a standalone makeup wipe but I always use SON & PARK - Beauty Water

on a cotton pad to take off my eye makeup and mascara and it's surprisingly effective at getting rid of everything but still very gentle and hydrating on my skin. I'll use a second pad to remove the rest of my makeup or as a light cleanser/toner in the morning.

Otherwise KOH GEN DO - Cleansing Spa Water Cloths

are my favorite facial wipe, but definitely a bit of a luxurious treat.

Re: Best Makeup Wipes?

My favorite are neutrogena's facial wipes. I think they are really good at taking off longwearing makeup, especially eyemakeup.
