Any recommendations for dark circles

I’ve always had dark circles since birth. I’ve consulted a doctor they said that it’s just how my skin is and than said I should try skincare. I have a cleanser and moisturizer but that’s it I’m looking for recommendations for dark circles please!!

Re: Any recommendations for dark circles

Oh’. And for concealer for the under eye area the kulfi concealer is my fave!!

Re: Any recommendations for dark circles

I’ve been using the Sahajan golden glow eye balm for my dark circles every night for the past year and it’s been a game changer !  Highly recommend as it’s worked for me.

@lilabirdys  If your dark circles are genetic (sounds like it, since you were born with them), then no skincare product will change them. I’m surprised a board certified medical doctor (assuming you’re in the US) would even advise skincare products, unless that doctor’s not a dermatologist or family practice doc. Did they at least tell you what kind(s) of skincare to look for?

Honestly, if you want to do something about genetic dark circles, your best bet is using makeup to mask them. I also have dark circles, but mine are caused by hollow tear troughs (which will only worsen as I keep aging; I’m in my 50s now), lack of sleep, and allergies (frequent eye rubbing, which is a bad habit). Sometimes I don’t bother hiding them. But when I do, I use a medium to high coverage concealer and apply it just where the dark circle is, not my entire undereye area. If your dark circles are brown toned, a peach or terracotta toned concealer can work as a color corrector. Just make sure the concealer shade’s not too light, or it may end up looking ashy under your eyes. Sometimes I’ll use an undereye brightener (my favorite is NARS Light Reflecting™ Undereye Brightener) alone or under concealer.

Do you already have a favorite concealer?
