AHA/BHA question

I need help from my fellow skincare lovers! I really benefit from aha and bha to help with texture from acne scarring. My issue is I really dislike the stinging feeling it leaves on my skin. I used drunk elephants Serum in the pink bottle for awhile, tried farmacy’s honeymoon glow, used the ordinary and also the drunk elephant baby facial mask, but had the same issue with it all.. it stung. I know it’s a harsher ingredient but am wondering if anyone has maybe used an AHA/BHA product that is more friendly to your skin? Right now I’m looking at herbivore’s new prism glow serum and Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha beta extra strength peel. Open to any and all advice and recommendations 🙂 I’ll also add I use Sunday Riley good genes daily.

AHA/BHA question

How often are you using your Aha's and Bha's? Start off with twice a week then up it to 3 times a week. you can even try using it twice a week, every other week and see if that helps. If that still doesn't help try Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA. it's not at Sephora but I've only heard good things about it and how gentle it is

Re: AHA/BHA question

@txjm If you need something a little more gentle and if you're looking at the one from DDG, you may want to try the regular daily peel pads rather than the extra strength if you're finding that you're sensitive.  You might also think about using a toner that contains a mild exfoliant.  From the drugstore there's the Pixi Glow Tonic and you can get the REN CLEAN SKINCARE - Ready Steady Glow Daily AHA Toner from Sephora.  A few other options to consider: FIRST AID BEAUTY - Facial Radiance Pads, FIRST AID BEAUTY - FAB Skin Lab Resurfacing Liquid 10% AHA, TATA HARPER - Resurfacing Trio, or the HERBIVORE - Blue Tansy Fruit Enzyme Resurfacing Clarity Mask, just to name a few :).  Let's just say that you have options...

RE: AHA/BHA question

Not at Sephora but have you looked into Paula’s Choice. They are famous for their Aha and BHA exfoliants and treatments. You can buy online or at Nordstrom and they are reasonably priced. They have different strength products which I think is really great.
