ACNEEEE!!!....Please help lol

HI THERE. First off, thank you for reading this. Second of all, are there any skin care products (no masks please) that are available to help with my acne? the problem is that i have combo skin to when i go to put on a moisturizer or creme or beauty oil, my skin would get very oily in some places but the usually dry parts would be ok. It's like a teeter totter where if i use the product, my skin would be extremely oily in some places and usually result in white or black heads, which is not good for my skin, but if i don't, my acne would get worse as well. With all the products i have tried, i really do not know where to turn rn.

Budget : Infinate

Dr. Dennis Gross sulfur mask works great on acne! Especially overnight!

**The mask just goes on the acne and not the entire face. It's great for someone who doesn't like traditional face masks.

I definitely second the Kate Somerville Eradicate spot treatment. It works miracles on pimples that I can feel are forming or are already visible. While a lot of people work on drying out their oily skin, I've heard that oily skin can sometimes be due to skin that is dehydrated, so it produces excess oil (at least that was/is the case with my skin). I've added Josie Maran argan oil to my nighttime routine and it definitely helps reduce oilyness, and I've had fewer breakouts as well. Stridex pads (in the red box) have been a savior for my skin also, it is a chemical exfoliant, so it removes dead skin cells so my skin is less clogged and my skin cells have a higher turnover rate (aka acne scars will fade quicker). Vitamin C serums also are a great way to fade scarring!

Re: ACNEEEE!!!....Please help lol

Not sure what your age is but I had adult acne (skipped the bad teenage breakouts) in my mid-20s with my combo skin and backne. I have somewhat sensitive skin and am allergic to benzoyl peroxide. Here's my regime at the time that helped clear my skin.

-Face wash - Obagi CLENZIderm Daily Care Foaming Cleanser Salicylic Acid. I use this once a day; twice a day dries out my skin. You may want to use a second time during the day only on the oily portions of your skin. This is not a Sephora item, you'll need to look online or visit a dermatologist for this one.

-Moisturizer - Shiseido Pureness Mattifying Moisturizer. Lightweight and oil-free moisturizer. Your skin will not feel clogged with this.

-Acne treatment - 1) Kate Somerville Eradikate Acne Treatment. This is probably the best acne spot treatment I've used. Use it at night before you sleep and wash it off the next morning.

2) Philosophy The Microdelivery Resurfacing Peel. Use this once every two weeks (three weeks if your skin is too dry). You may want to skip this if you're getting microdermabrasion treatments regularly. Make sure you wear sunscreen

3) Peter Thomas Roth Therapeutic Sulfur Acne Treatment Masque. Use this once a week.

-Acne scars - Philosophy Turbo Booster C Powder. Mix this in with your moisturizer to heal acne scars faster or lighten older scars.

Additionally, you may want to look into your diet to eat cleaner. After your acne gets better, consider getting a chemical peel as well to help fight the bacteria under your skin. Hope this helps!

Heya! So, first you should moisturizing products just in the places where your skin is dry so that your acne does not worsen in the oily sections. Second, not to sound basic, but Lush and the body shop have relatively cheap quality products that really help with oily skin. Lush's tea tree oil toner is amazing to balance the oils on your face and their enzymion moisturizer is great to moisturize the dry parts of your face without clogging your pores and making your skin excessively oily. Mario Badescu has a great rose water spray that helps as a final step to make your skin bright and moisturized without containing any ingredients that could potentially clog your pores. It's also very refreshing! Finally, I know you said you didn't want to use any masks, but The Body Shop's tea tree oil and activated charcoal masks are incredible and really helpful to quickly get rid of a bad breakout.
