A good foot peel

Can someone recommend a good foot peel? I've got a section of callused skin on my foot that is dry and sticking out and needs to peel away. I took a picture but decided to spare you guys that. I don't want to cut it off or mess with it. Thanks in advance.

Re: A good foot peel

Oh you REALLY should try Amlactin Feet. It is about five bucks on Amazon so very affordable. More importantly this stuff works beautifully. It is a chemical exfoliant that you just apply at night under some socks and the very next morning you will see results. Incredible results, it isnt subtle. There is also a 'regular' Amlactin that is phenomenal, I especially like to use it as a handcream. The feet stuff ... you really should try it! I used it every night for 3 or 4 nights and my dry, cracked, crusty feet were smooth with absolutely no fuss at all other than putting a little cream on them before bed.

@sprocketta earth therapeutic has a great foot peel I just used a month ago! Very reasonable priced, you can order it from Kohl's I believe

Re: A good foot peel

Don’t get a peeling foot mask @sprocketta . Certain health conditions can be aggravated by the foot peel according to my manicurist. Just purchase a foot file.

Re: A good foot peel

The one I always go back to is Babyfoot, @sprocketta. You can get it from Ulta for $25 I think? There are other cheaper options, but honestly this one is the one that's done the best peeling wise for me. I do recommend wearing the masks longer than the directions say to- like 2 hours in stead of 1.

Re: A good foot peel

I second the babyfoot! Use it after you have soaked and dried your feet for best results (I use it after a bath) once the booties are on massage them onto your feet, put socks on over the booties too.

you will not notice anything for 5ish days, then your feet will start to peel. Soak them again daily to help speed the peeling process. You won’t want to wear open shoes for a few days, and ideally  wear socks, including to bed to avoid flaking everywhere.

top tip. Once you remove the booties, flatten them out and fold and seal the tops. Vacuum seal them or out in a ziplock and you can get another one or two uses from them.

Re: A good foot peel

Thanks @quspork I'm fine paying a little more for good results. Is it as gross as I've heard?

Re: A good foot peel

Oh it's definitely gross and hard to resist picking all the skin off as it starts to shed, but the results are nice! @sprocketta
