Sunday Riley Sulfur Treatment Mask Burn

Used this product overnight by spot treating and woke up with red and burning patches

Did anyone have similar experiences and how did you treat it? How long did it take to go away?

Re: Sunday Riley Sulfur Treatment Mask Burn

@lucysiyu So I didn't have this with SR, but I did have this happen after using Kate Sommerville's Sulfur spot treatment, as it turns out I have an allergy to some sulfer compounds. I spot treated with the Tatcha Violet-C mask but any soothing balm/mask should do essentially the same thing.

Use extra plain/soothing products in your skincare lineup for the next few days- like switch to an oil/balm cleanser or other mild soap cleanser and just toner and a nourishing lotion or balm. It cleared up entirely for me in 2 days, and it was significantly better after day 1
