Skin care during chemo

Hi all,

I will be starting chemo next week. Living in the tropics for most of my life, I’ve had to adjust to the drier Colorado air and how it affects my skin. Now, I hear that my skin may become super sensitive to fragrances and ingredients. 

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to take care of my skin while I go through treatment? 

Please note: this is not for vanity reasons. My skin is already sensitive and gets it hey easily. I just want to make sure that how I feel in my skin isn’t another thing to contend with...as much as possible.

Thank you for your recommendations! I am currently using Sephora collection, simply because of price. Do you think the Sephora line would work? Kate Somerville seems very expensive for me. I’m a grad student and will be starting treatment soon....?

Hi, @py79 !  The Sephora Collection has great products at reasonable prices.  My first "real" moisturizer was by Sephora!  You can definitely find products that will work for you and your budget.  The Inky List and The Ordinary two other budget friendly lines with great products.  Best wishes to you during chemo and recovery! 💖💖💖
