In store sample requests. What did you get?

I try my best to always ask for samples when I am shopping/browsing at various beauty stores.  I mean the worst thing that could happen is they say “we don’t have any samples to give out at the moment” (which has happened to me countless times). In the end, you won’t know unless you ask and try. 

Please share your in store sample requests. I know every store is different but it’s always nice to see what is offered or what you can get.

Picked up the $5 tote at Ulta to get 50 points and asked if they had any samples. I got Chanel 😊

Ordered on-line and picked up  on store and I receivef a deluxe sple of a product I have never tried.  Looking forward to trying it although I do like a different hair mask.

I got a sample Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush Eau de Parfum with Floral Vanilla today.  I have a bag of fragrance samples I am trying to use but since I have finished 4 this month I took the sample offered.  This is a new one to me

Went to look at the new MAC Lunar New Year/Valentine’s Day collection. I asked if they had a sample of the new face wash and she gave me the one in the display because she ran out. I was happy.

What are your favorite samples out of all of the ones you have gotten? What kind of things can you get samples for (lip glosses, setting powders, mascara, etc etc)? What samples do you recommend getting at Sephora?

@natalia36912 my favorite is when I get Chanel at Ulta. 

I honestly just ask if they have any kind of sample. Unless I am looking for something in particular I won’t specify what. I’m just glad to get anything. 

I recommend asking for samples you want to try. Like a new brand or something you heard that is a fav.

Yesterday I went to the store to grab my online order/in-store pickup, I watched the sales associate give a handful of samples to the girl in front of me in line, as well as her friend (who wasn't purchasing anything). I was excited to see what they included in my bag.... got home and there was nothing 😭
