Hey moms! Do you make time to do your makeup everyday or just for special occasions? What about skin care routines?

6 out of 7 days and I'm a stay at home mom with a two year old! Some days it's doing full glam on the kitchen table while he's having breakfast but usually not till noon when he's napping. I do what I can. Haha!

I aim for everyday but as a stay home mom sometimes it is 1pm before I can get to it and by then I don't really want to anymore. However 3 out of 7 days I manage to look put together by the time the husband comes home. My favorite is "special occasions" like a movie, dinner, party or church. I love to do my makeup for those because I can do my makeup without looking too done up for just the house or grocery trips.

I sure do. i wear it mostly on weekends and very little mon-friday because I'm just lazy, sleep is paramour, plus I love a full face. however, I think we have sort of an agreement, if my 4 year old let's me do my make-up when I'm done i "do" hers. Her make up includes some mostrizer, me pretending to put powder foundation on her and some glitter lipgloss or chapstick she loves it.

Right now I don't do it everyday. I'm working on changing that so that I do a little something.

I do my makeup ALMOST every day. I try to wash, prime, bronze, mascara, and lipstick even when I'm just staying home. Somedays it doesn't happen, not even going to lie! 😀

I definitely have to time it, not only because O have to wear it for work but even on off days when I still want a little something I carve out time and have a set look that'll be 15minutes max! Also this fisher price sit me up is amazing if you have a super little one. He gets to sit up and we play and I get my face done.

i wish i had discovered the sit me up sooner! at this point i don't know that it will be worth it for the time we have left to use it.

Yeah, I just looked on letgo and facebook marketplace and bought from somebody who was selling it in the city. much more inexpensive . $15 versus $45

Just on special occasions. I’m trying to do it more to make me feel human (have a 2 and 4 year old) but it’s difficult still.

I hear you @cnovak26! Mine are 2, 4, and 7 and there’s definitely very little time to do it. These kids keep us super busy!

I only do it on special occasions, my little one is 2 and crazy hyper and gives me headaches lol I can’t really do my makeup in peace. I’m not a morning person either, I normally wake up when she wakes up and take care of her. When I do put on makeup and she’s there, she goes and takes my makeup and brushes mimicking me hahaha. You think it’s bad I let her wear lipstick sometimes?! She’s so girly!!

Adorablee! My 21 month old is the same when I try to put on anything for an occasion. I keep a few brushes around to give her when she wants to copy me lol..I do have a few palettes that she hit pan just by poking her fingers in -_- lol!

She’s so cute @Anonymous! My youngest is 2 and she’s ALL OVER ME when I do my makeup, it’s really silly! I got her a chap stick and an empty palette and let her use an old makeup brush so she can play while I play ☺️
