Curly hair

Would anyone have any product suggestions to define curly hair? A curl cream? There is so many to choose from. My daughter has beautiful curls, but her hair is also fine. They tend to fall out throughout the night (and sometimes knot by morning). For reference, bath time is in the evening (wet hair). And I have tried leave-in conditioner, but it smoothens the curls out more. I’m trying to find the best product to help define her curls while embracing her hair type ❤️
