Totally different box than indicated in my spoiler

I received a spoiler about the items that were going to be in my box this month, this is totally different from what was in that spoiler. I was really excited when I saw the spoiler when I opened my box today I want to cry 😢 I’m not impressed. This is it as disappointing as when I place an order,  use my points to get a free item and then the item doesn’t get shipped to me because they’ve run out,  And how about when you pick your free samples in an order, and the samples that come in the order are totally different than what you picked.... It has frequently ended up being three different kinds of perfume,  their inventory system needs a total redo, Maybe someone at Amazon or Walmart can help them get their online ordering system squared away And help them with supply and demand because I think that the Sephora play box is all about supply and demand when they pick what you’re going to get it has nothing to do with what you indicate in your profile it’s just whatever they have in the warehouse that they want to get rid of, I participate in the play program because I want to be exposed to new products, many of the products that I have received in the six months I’ve been participating in play have been items that I have gotten as a free sample when I placed an online order.

I watch for the boxes to be released to my favorite subscription blogger "my subscription addiction" and then check my order number on my shipping statement from Sephora and compare the box #'s given on the spoilers to see which one I am getting. There are typically 3 boxes that you could receive most months, and you are right in that they are not individually tailored as much as other subscription boxes like ipsy. I would suggest going to mysubscriptionaddiction.com if you want to know exactly what you will be getting before your box arrives. ❤👍

I got the same stuff in my box and it's honestly my least favorite of all the boxes I've gotten this year. Thinking about cancelling my subscription. Especially since I live far from a Sephora and I can only redeem my play pass in stores, which makes no sense.

I just asked them yesterday from Instagram, and they told me that “ you can redeem your play pass online “ but we can’t.. lol idk

Online samples aren’t guaranteed to be what you select. I do see what you’re saying about the repeated samples sent out in the boxes though, I think they should always be different.
