Pink Tea Lip Stain

uhhhh.... did this make anyone else look like a corpse?? Also, about the size of the sample. It's Sephora's own product, but it came in a "lipstick for ants" size. 😂 (That was a Zoolander reference for all the youngin's on here.) But seriously, who got this shade and looks good in it? Lipstick is a crapshoot for me anyway because of my skin tone, so I'm not mad at Sephora for this one. Was there another color of the same product in other people's boxes? The attached picture doesn't do it justice: its WAY more purple looking in real life. I look really cold and/or really dead.

I think that’s the only color they sent, and I believe the ones that got the lips grande sample was also in an awful shade 😕 and absolutely, the size was LAUGHABLE!!!

It turned my lips the color of dead flesh. I have other shades of this product that work for me, but I'd love to know how to doctor this one to work.

swing and a miss for me on the shade, but I liked the product otherwise. I'd like to buy a full size in another color. At least I know which shade to avoid.

This is it on darker skin. A big nope. I can make it work with a dark lip liner, but this is the third box I’ve received with something that is allegedly picked for my complexion, but clearly is not.

I have a medium complexion, and my lips are very pigmented, so darker colors look best on me. I've layered it with some other darker colors, too and that seemed to help. It pulls very grayish-purple on me by itself.

i actually like the color and have used it a few times! i figured we're only paying 10.00 get what you pay for...

That's very true. I've "doctored" it with some other lip products to make it a little bit more wearable. I really loved the product itself though, but I won't purchase this particular shade. There are so many other pretty colors to pick from, and the price isn't bad either! I still think the experience of getting the play box is definitely worth the $10/month. At least I know which color not to pick lol.

It looked very pretty swatched on the back of my hand, but on my lips it turned into a "doodoo lavender" shade lmao.
