PLAY! by SEPHORA has some exciting news to share with you. Starting in May 2016, we’re expanding PLAY! to the lower 48 states and giving our PLAY! boxes a makeover!

For those of you already on the waitlist as of April 8^th, 2016, we will be sending out invitations in waves until all available spots are filled. Invitations will be sent based on when you joined the waitlist. Spots are still limited, so please act quickly if you receive an invitation. As a reminder, when you receive your invitation to join, be sure to enter the same email address used to join the waitlist. If you don’t receive an invitation this time around, or you joined the waitlist after April 8th – don’t worry! As more spots open up each month, we’ll continue to send out invitations on a rolling, first come, first served basis.

If you would like to join the waitlist, please enter your email by visiting www.sephora.com/play. You will be included in future months’ invitations.

Q: When will invites be sent out to people who are on the waitlist?

A: The first wave of invitations for signup will be sent during mid-April 2016. They will continue to be sent out in monthly increments as the program grows.

Q: Where does PLAY! by SEPHORA ship?

A: PLAY! by SEPHORA is currently only available in the U.S. and can ship to any address in the contiguous 48 states.

Q: If I do get an invite, am I guaranteed a box?

A: Box quantities are limited each month. If you are invited to subscribe to PLAY! by SEPHORA, please redeem your invitation and claim your spot as soon as possible so that you don’t miss out on that month’s box.

Q: Will Canadians have an opportunity to subscribe?

A: PLAY! by SEPHORA is not currently available in Canada; however, we will keep you posted on any plans for expansion.

Q: I am a US resident and do not live in one of the contiguous 48 states. When will PLAY! be available to me?

A: We are currently exploring ways to expand our shipping capabilities to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and US Military Bases. We'll be notifying clients as soon as we have an update and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Hi Sephora!

Can you please release a statement on how you plan on rolling out this box. It said that it would be released at the beginning of 2016, its April now and it seems like no one on the waitlist has been added! So it would be good to know if you plan on canceling it, or rolling it out completely and if so when it will be rolled out!

Hi Lisa, I am newer also.  I signed up late last year, no word either, yet I get e-mails  on newcomers comment on e-mail.  I am waiting trying to hold onto the patience is a virtue message was said long ago.  I have read quite a lot of posts here say they have been waiting a longer....I suppose they have criteria we know nothing of they follow as well.  Hope you get a word up soon!

All the Best!  Live Beauty ~just wanted to encourage...may it come across that way, just in case you don't get a response as I have not seen many directly regard to the PLAY Boxes.  Some share who have and some who get an invite...no other word...except the invite that comes in the e-mail.

I've been enjoying the Play boxes a lot, so I just want to assure everyone that it is worth the wait! 

Also, this is the first time in my life that I've ever been remotely happy I lived in Cincinnati.

Today is the second time I receive and invitation. I received an email stating that it was my 2nd chance to sign up 15 minutes ago.  And then when I attempt to sign up, the site says not more spots available.. SOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATING!

I am curious about these samples.  what size will they be for what products.  I'm not a fan of tiny squares with liquids or creams it seems like a waste.  What if I don't use it all the first time then the rest is opened to bacteria.  Just a concern.  I received my invite to wait 3/31/16 and I live in chicago

For real?  If an oil is rancid you can smell it.  If a perfume sample has lost it's fragrance, it's not much good.  Why not go on youtube.com and query something like "Sephora Play Box Samples"...you aught to get a whole lot of folks showing what they got in their play box.  You are not going to get full size products and five or six for ten dollars. For real.  You will perhaps get the deluxe sizes offered here with a purchase.  I don't think they send out many "packs" like the three one choses when they buy, yet maybe a fragrance sample is all.   I like trying the sample size first.  If skin care, I put them in a clear acrylic stack drawer by my sink.  I have cleanser samples (not packs, the deluxe) in one drawer, moisturizers in another, exfoliators in another, then masks.  If I don't need to add more at the time, I have boxes I fill up and label at that time in my closet where it is cool and dark.  So far no issues, and I have been with one sample box company for awhile for 10 dollars, pleased. I thought I was a germaphobic. You are more likely to get bacteria on your hands at public restrooms or on a grocery store cart.  When trying samples, wash hands first. 

To me it is more a waste to purchase something large and to return it is difficult.  Samples I like as you get to try first.

It seems they're starting to send out invitations outside the original test areas. I recently got my email and registered (I'm in VA), as did my best friend (in NY). Hope those that are still waiting get their invites soon!

Dudes, can we please chill with the indignation at having to wait for a subscription box of beauty products? Sorry to be preachy, but there are people in the world who are dying waiting for food and clean water and you are complaining because a service (that you are not even paying for yet) hasn't sent you a few lipstick samples. Let's just be happy we have the extra cash to spend on something fun and frivolous.

That being said, I'm super excited and can't wait to be off the wait list 🙂

I've spent a lot of money at Sephora over the years and it's ridiculous to be on a wait list. Not nice Sephora.
