Marc Jacobs Mascara

We’re any other subscribers not really feeling last month’s mascara? I am a mascara lover and was looking forward to Marc Jacobs because I haven’t tried the brand. I didn’t like the applicator and felt like it put it on too heavy and left my eyelashes clumpy. I generally like the formula but I always had to go over it with a different mascara to remove the clumps.

Really??? I loved mine. It doesn’t smudge or transfer on my lower lashes.

I agree, I had tried a sample with a recent order- so I was not excited to see it in my first box. It’s now in my emergency work makeup bag with all my other lackluster products I have come across

That is actually a great idea to do with products left unused. Usually I put things in and have to take them out. Thanka for the great idea. The mascara, I am still on the fence about. Some days I think I like it, other days, I hate it.

That Marc Jacobs mascara was REALLY bad. I had to do my eye make up all over again and didn't have time. Went plain, was so unhappy about that.

I personally did not care for the MJ mascara. I found it to be very clumpy and smeared under my eyes.

I agree for some reason I think all of the sample mascaras are like that. I wipe the excess off but sometimes I just avoid using it because of the extra work when I’m in a rush.

I was really looking forward to trying a higher end mascara and I was a little disappointed. it was very clumpy and doesn't distribute evenly on my lashes. it was good to go over my drugstore mascara to add thickness though.

I enjoyed the mascara. I agree that the applicator holds a lot of product, what i do is i wipe the excess off on the edge of the bottle and then apply. After that it goes on very nicely.

I tried one of his mascaras year or two ago and I lost a ton of lashes (seriously!).. so I was hesitant this round. when i can get it to apply right, my lashes look great! but a few hours later i can see it flaking/dusting my under eye area making it appear darker than it is. I haven't noticed if I am losing lashes again since I've only used this a couple of times on random days- but i know it is not like the other formula since that only took 1 application to start losing lashes. i wouldn't say this is all that great and I wont be buying it.. ever.. a fee months ago I received a Clinique one and wasn't expecting much and I absolutely love that one!

I actually loved this mascara so much I got the full size!!! But I also like a slightly clumpier lash. Just goes to show how different our skin/hair reacts to products! Hoping you find something you love. I use this first and then Benefit Roller Lash to give some separation. 🙂

I was not a fan, however, I have short, straight eyelashes, so I prefer a curved wand to give me a little lift.

I would describe my distain toward that mascara as a gloppy, flaky, wet mess. I tried it a week straight and every day it just got worse and worse. Yuck. It’s a shame because the size of the sample was great, just a crappy formula and brush.

I️ loved the mascara. I️ find that it’s easier to apply if you put a coat of a thinner mascara on like the tarts lights camera action mascara. Hope this helped 😁

Ugh, same here. Wayyy too thick and clumpy, even with a lash primer. I'll stick with BTS Mascara.
