Marc Jacobs Mascara

We’re any other subscribers not really feeling last month’s mascara? I am a mascara lover and was looking forward to Marc Jacobs because I haven’t tried the brand. I didn’t like the applicator and felt like it put it on too heavy and left my eyelashes clumpy. I generally like the formula but I always had to go over it with a different mascara to remove the clumps.

yeah, mine left long fibers IN MY EYE and caused sharp stabbing pains for days. it finally came out when i was crying. it was over an inch long. sticking with my big ego and giving to a friend, bc maybe it's just my mascara that has obnoxiously long fibers

Yes! It was very clumpy and goopy. I didn’t like it at all.

I've continued to use it but I wouldn't purchase it. It's clumpy, not very lengthening, and always flakes off into my under eye.

Mine was completely broken and im fairly new to play so i wasnt sure to contact and just let it go i was disapointed but it wasnt that huge of a deal

I experienced the same, clumpy mascara.  The mascara stayed clumped onto the applicator wand,  which made for a lot of product.

i didnt rly like it, and i already have a holy grail mascara. i gave it to my mom and she’s obsessed now, so all in all i guess it wasnt too bad lol

which one did u try. was it the Velvet Noir. this is going to sound ridiculous but the one I got in my play box was great. I loved it. but I can't remember if it was Velvet Noir. so I just bought that one yesterday and I hate it. it's horrible !!! nothing like my sample size.

I was really looking forward to it, but it was just too heavy. I have long lashes that are kind of straight and it actually weighed them down! I guess I'm glad for the sample so I'll know not to buy this one!

I agree. And what's with the mascaras that come never being waterproof? I look like a dalmation after a shower. Never loved waterproof mascara so much before.

Couldn’t stand it. I had to remove it the first time as it clumped so bad I looked like Tammy far Baker. I tried it again but wasted sooo much wiping the wand down to remove 90% of it before it was usable.

I agree it was too think and clumpy, it did not apply well. There are many mascaras that apply beautifully without having to wipe off excess and waste product. I’d pass on this in the store. I love the ‘They’re Real’ mascara for daytime and would say the Lancôme Hypnose would be comparable to the MJ for going out or more dramatic looks.

At first I didn't like it at all, it clumped up. So I gave it another shot wiped off the excess and it applied nice but then after wearing it all day at work it ran under my eyes. So nope, no good.

I don't care for the Marc Jacobs mascara.  It looks beautiful, but agreed a few hours I have a dark shadow indeed my eyes.  If it was water proof, BAM I'd be all over it!

I'm in love with this mascara! With proper application, it makes my lashes voluminous, defined and simply amazing! Didn't have any problems with clumping or flaking at all, and it stays in place all day!

Upon first application, I hated it, but after giving it a few more tries, I figured out a way to get it to apply beautifully to my short, sparse lashes. Make sure you wipe off the excess product and instead of shaking the wand back and forth across the lashes as you run from root to tip, rotate the wand. It lifts and separates so much better that way, (for me at least.) I'm a mascara junkie and this is the first true volumizing mascara I've found that I've loved, (outside of the YSL The Shock one.) Marc Jacobs knocked that one out of the park in my honest opinion.

I hated it! So thick and clumpy. After multiple tries, I ended up trashing it.
