I’m done with the subscription. Haven’t been happy with any of the products for months. Can’t stand the sample perfumes all the time, the makeup setting sprays, and the sample shampoos.

I love Sephora play boxes! I used absolutely everything in my may box! No complaints here!

I got the play box hoping it would be better than Ipsy but it seems like you don’t actually take what we want into consideration... you write that you send us products based on our needs, yet every foundation shade is wrong and in my last box I received thickening spray... I have thick curly hair! I don’t need a thickening spray! Some products are good but I’m surprised by how disappointing this box turned out.

Ipsy is way better. Only a few boxes here have high end products, and they are never mine

Me too -  I have thick, frizzy hair and I keep getting thickening hair products!  3 months in a row!  Otherwise, I've enjoyed the products, but the hair products do not match my profile at all!  Looks like I'm getting another thickening product this month too!

I felt the same way in a sense. With Ipsy, the products are evened out with full-size and perhaps a few sample sizes. I feel as though Sephora only uses sample sizes. 😕 As for the products they use to fill the bag, it's hit or miss. I don't think they aim to review our favorite products or preferences but rather focus on products that everyone can use. With tinted everything, their agile method fails. Agree!

Would love to actually receive a box that I can use more than 1 item from it. Sephora really needs to rethink how they pick who gets what I seriously received the thickening hair crap in May and I have extremely thick hair the beach wave stuff would have been amazing.

Yeah they make a few different versions of a box each month with a variation or two. Our beauty profile literally has nothingggg to do with their selection process

I agree!!  This is really horrible- I joined with really high expectations and have been disappointed more often than pleased.  I also have subscriptions to other boxes- they allow for choosing either a product, a choice of box or to let them just send random stuff.  Most sites use feedback on samples sent to you to ‘fine tune’ personalization (ex: I HATE dry shampoo) so I don’t get that stuff anymore,  it would be great if members here could chose which box to get ( they told me they “can’t” do that because they don’t have the “ability” to - total BS).  I’ve given them one more month to get a box to me that isn’t completely unsuitable for me.

Me too. I have crazy thick hair and they send me thicken and volume items?!?! If I was putting the boxes together I would have definitely given both of us the sea salt wave stuff. I'm getting close to letting my Play box go. We will have to see though.

I have box 363... anyone else have that number? I am looking forward to this one 🙂 ... BUT, it better not be Too Faced BTS because that mascara is TERRIBLE! I hate it so much... raccoon eyes everytime. If they do send that then I hope the other items make up for it. I really want a Cover FX item! Fingers crossed

@InkedGirl someone recently posted the contents of box 363. I’m also getting this box and excited about what they listed. - oh and I also hate the TF better than sex mascara, gives me raccoon eyes too.

OMG! I just looked! 😄 I am definitely happy with this box. I was pretty disappointed with May's box. I have been a subscriber since October and I think this is the first time I have liked every single product in the box. I am looking forward to it!
